Description
AMINOGARD GRANULES
AminoGard Granules powder, 5 g (sachet)
OVERVIEW
Aminogard granules, when combined with concentrated calorie sources (like hypertonic dextrose or fat emulsion), electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals, offer a biologically utilizable source material for protein synthesis. Aminogard granules will assist in keeping the body in shape for increased fitness and overall health as well as the muscles ready for peak performance. The body will receive what it needs from an ongoing, sufficient supply of amino acids, and this will improve the ratio of muscle to fat. Any anticatabolic or anabolic strategy must include higher doses of essential micronutrients (thiamine, riboflavin, pyridoxine, folic acid), as these nutrients are depleted following trauma or during the healing process.

Pharmacokinetics
Unlike fats and carbohydrates, amino acids require the removal of the amine group. Removal of the amine group occurs through a 2-step process: transamination reaction and oxidative deamination. All excess amino acids are deaminated. This results in the production of ammonia, which is toxic and is eliminated via the urea cycle. The urea cycle occurs in the liver, resulting in the formation of urea, which is eliminated by excretion as urine.
The liver is the major site of nitrogen metabolism in the body. The carbon skeletons are generally conserved as carbohydrates via gluconeogenesis or as fatty acids via fatty acid synthesis pathways.
In this respect, amino acids fall into three categories: glucogenic, ketogenic, or glucogenic and ketogenic. Glucogenic amino acids are those that give rise to a net production of pyruvate or TCA cycle intermediates, such as a-Ketoglutarate or Oxaloacetate, all of which are precursors to glucose via gluconeogenesis.
Dosage
One sachet of aminogard may be taken twice daily. Not recommended for children under the age of two.
Dissolve the contents of the sachet in 200 ml of water or juice and consume immediately or directly with a glass of water.
